The 13th Agent Achievement Awards took place at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Thursday 23rd April. The event was attended by more than 500 guests from the travel industry – including over 300 of the top performing retail agents and travel management companies in the business. Low Cost Deals the online home of Aspen Travel were nominated for 4 awards that evening which were Travel Website of the year,North West England & North Wales Regional Agent of the year,Ski Agent of the year and Luxury Agent of the year. Key to these nominations is LowCostDeals expertise in holiday brands such as Club Med, Mark Warner and Kuoni.

Beldi for example is a Club Med 3 trident village. They highlight the following review “Great for families or those with a tighter budget. I enjoyed myself immensely here; the accommodation is on the outskirts of the village with all the entertainment, restaurants, bar and the beach right in the centre. You could wander anywhere through the lush gardens or simply gaze at the sea or watch fitness lessons/trapeze artists practising for tonight’s show in the amphitheatre or sign yourself up for cookery lessons/Turkish lessons/sea trips or Salsa Classes. Blankets are provided if it’s a bit chilly.

Beldi has a baby Club Med option, babies are welcome from 4 months upwards – Two Biberonnerie stations are located in the grounds. They have microwaves/fridges/blenders/bottle warmers/washing and food prep areas are very clean here. You can borrow pushchairs as well. You also have the option to use the facilities in the kid’s restaurant area.

The beach at Beldi quite pebbly but has ample walkways for pushchairs etc. There is also a boat trip that takes you snorkelling. This goes twice a day 10am and 3pm for approx. 2 hours. All equipment is onboard. There is a trapeze/trampoline on the beach where you can practise your swinging and watch the G.O’s making fools of themselves……

All motor sports are free except Paragliding which is run by another company. There are 2 pools, one heated freshwater and one saltwater.

The food was fantastic, what can I say; I spent a good 15 minutes walking around deciding what I wanted. So much choice it’s unreal. The drinks were unlimited, wine from the fridges or coke/beer from the pumps. You really can go back as much as you like.”
